Sponsorship of Archaeological Excavation of Rhodiapolis

Commercial activities are meant to earn money for those, who perform them. But what about non-profit initiatives like excavations on the site of ancient settlement? In this case the value is not money, but the unique knowledge about ancient cultures and history of man kind.

Back to the world we all are living in, one needs funds to make historical discoveries possible. Fortunately there are companies, who understand significance of such discoveries and feel themselves responsible to help making them happen.

Model Investment company, whose business is project development of real estate in Turkey, has assumed the sponsorship of archaeological excavations on the site of the Rhodiapolis ancient city.

Excavation was supported by Kumluca municipality and supervised by Akdeniz University archaeologists and involved more than 50 people discovering history of ancient Rhodia history, dating back to fourth century BC.

In addition to the unique opportunity of preserving cultural heritage, excavations site will attract tourists, which would have a positive influence on region economical development.
